Lovejoy is a loveable rogue wonderfully played by Ian McShane. I adore the book series too - they're written by Jonathan Gash and you can read more about them HERE - but the Lovejoy of the books is much darker - more violent. No, the series is light-hearted and follows the exploits of Lovejoy ("No mister, just Lovejoy")- antiques dealer and divvy extraordinaire.
Eventually, I will write reviews of each and every episode (71 of them! Plus two 2-hour specials), but for now, here is a list of titles with original British airedates, which I got from Wikipedia. [I've also added the book title on which an episode was based if I know it]
